Compaq Armada 1700

I picked this Armada 1700 up a few months ago, it was free and advertised with a boot error due to a hard disc problem. On getting it home it booted straight up, so I assume it was probably something like a stuck head that freed off after with the vibrations from being transported. From what I can see, it looks like this laptop is almost unused, there were only about 10 user files on it, and there's almost almost nothing of note installed on it, just a default Windows 95 installation with Office 97 as well. The internal condition backs this up, the only dust to speak of was a minimal amount in places where it can just settle from outside, further inside there was none at all, even on the CPU heatsink or the fan. It has sustained a bit of wear in storage though, with some very minor scuffs on the plastics, and at some point what I think was a blanking plate for the modem socket hole got smashed, which was a good excuse to upgrade it with a modem. It's got a 300MHz Pentium 2 (Tonga - with 512kB off-die L2 cache) and it came with a 64MB memory module for a total of 96MB, and a 5GB HDD. Even the battery still works, I haven't tested it under load, but when idling it lasts for about 2 hours.
