This was also a hand-me-down, this time with very broken plastics in the base where the hinges had stressed and broken the plastic. We'd kept it in service for a few extra years with the help of duct tape and steel brackets to prevent the hinges moving (had they done so it's likely they'd have damaged the motherboard), but eventually Mum needed a replacement. I've just removed the screen and will just treat this like a small desktop PC connected to an external monitor. It has an AMD A10-9600P CPU with integrated graphics, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB HDD.
